Abide in Christ

I must be in my trial period of of learning how to live abundantly (John 10:10) instead of just surviving to get through the day.  It seems I cannot learn a truth unless I experience or live that truth out.  This truth has been put to the test this week with many deep spiritual hurts of people and physical sickness including my own illness. 

It is difficult to focus when I am overwhelmed.  That is a good scheme of the enemy...keep her busy with other's problems and her own illness and she will not have time to develop a deep relationship with Christ.  Her life will be about putting out forest fires instead of building up the forest.

Where ever you find yourself today remember John 15:4...Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine,neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
